Secure Tape Disposal
Insurgo delivers patented tape disposal technology that ensures complete and irreversible
data destruction for end-of-life tape cartridges—far exceeding traditional methods such
as shredding or degaussing.
The process utilizes advanced magnetic erasure across the entire length of the tape and
permanently overwrites or destroys the Cartridge Memory (CM) chip, making any form
of data recovery impossible.
Following erasure, tape cartridges are safely dismantled and responsibly recycled
through environmentally sustainable processes, significantly reducing CO₂ emissions
compared to conventional shredding methods.
This secure destruction methodology is independently tested and proven to prevent
data recovery, even when subjected to advanced forensic techniques
